Hi! My name is Kirsten and I am a Scottish professional Pilates and Barre teacher with a background in Musical Theatre. Pilates and nutrition have played an integral part in my wellbeing as being a performer. Theatres were forced to close through the pandemic, which gave me an opportunity to retrain as a teacher. I gained my qualifications in Pilates, Barre as well as Pre + Post Natal Pilates. I am currently studying towards Therapy in Exercise, working alongside physiotherapists to help rehabilitate injuries. I’m continually amazed by the complexity of the human body, and I strive to help people discover their inner strength mentally and physically. Teaching allowed me to find purpose during that difficult time in my life, and it’s been a total gift — I now can’t imagine doing anything else. Because of my background in dance, I love to incorporate the joy of movement into the structure of my Pilates classes — so you can always expect to move your body in ways that feel liberating and free!
