I first discovered Heartcore in 2017 after welcoming my second son. As an experienced personal trainer, I already understood the importance of strength and movement, but I was amazed at how incredible my body felt after just a few classes - it was a humbling experience and I knew immediately that I wanted to join the team.
Running has always been a significant part of my life, but I had begun to notice that my body was struggling after each run - my hips were increasingly tight and I felt twinges in my lower back (not helped by frequent lifting of a heavy toddler!). A few weeks after starting at Heartcore, my body felt more aligned, open, and stronger, and those nagging discomforts began to fade.
I take immense joy in helping and empowering others, and I'm grateful to do this alongside such an incredible community. My teaching is rooted in empathy, experience and passion with a strong emphasis on technique and body awareness - a small adjustment can make all the difference! I find music hugely motivating and love making playlists - a good song can lift the energy of the whole room!
I understand how challenging it can be to find the time and energy to commit to regular classes, but carving out that time for yourself is essential, not only for your body but also for your mind. We all lead busy lives and rarely allow ourselves moments to slow down, breathe, and connect. An hour at Heartcore feels like a form of therapy - your body will be challenged in all of the right ways and you will leave feeling amazing inside and out.
