Eloise
For me, teaching is more than just a job, it's a calling. After graduating from the Central School of Ballet, I joined the prestigious Joffrey Ballet, Chicago and then onto the English National Ballet; and although my career was shorter than expected (due to injury) I realised that i'd been given a gift which was Pilates; challenging, strengthening, and low-impact it supported me through rehab, and then I fell in love with that way of movement and decided to share that passion with others. As a professional dancer, you learn from an early age that your body and mind are deeply connected — one just doesn't thrive without the other — and working hard is a non-negotiable. And for me, being supported by an inspiring teacher always allowed me to reach new heights. So now my greatest joy is seeing the transformation in my guests during class; when they enter the room, they may have doubts about their capabilities, but as we move together, something magical happens — they tap into a reserve of inner strength and courage they never knew they had; they push themselves to achieve new heights of physical and mental endurance and leave class feeling powerful, confident, and alive. It's an opportunity to connect with others on a deeper level, to inspire and motivate them to be their best selves, and to create a sense of community and belonging.
